Rod has worked at all levels in schools including: science teacher, head of department, head of year, senior teacher, deputy head, headteacher. His headship was over 23 years and 3 schools (two state schools 13 years, and Independent 10 years). He has also been a School inspector (OFSTED and ISI), School Improvement Partner, Consultant Leader with the National College of School Leadership, independent leadership & Education consultant. He has been featured a number of times in the national press for his expertise and perspectives. Rod is a highly experienced consultant, coach and mentor, he specialises in leadership and team performance. Over his career has a successful record of generating transformational improvement in schools along with creating self-sustaining, ambitious and creative cultures.
